The P-225 takes its sound from Yamaha's first concert grand piano, the CFX, and this model uses Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) Lite technology to reproduce the expressive, moment-by-moment key changes that occur in a real grand piano. The new GHC (Graded Hammer Compact) keyboard offers a realistic playing feel.

Of course, this instrument does not need to be tuned.
