The Easy Concert Pieces series contains pieces of easy to medium difficulty for double bass and piano accompaniment. The tracks, classified by level of difficulty in three volumes, represent music of all eras and can be played in audition, contest or for exams. The Easy Concert Pieces are a motivating complement in progress.
All parts are included on the included CD, in full version or in playback (with piano accompaniment).
Volume 1 (ED 22551) contains parts playing on the half and the first position. There are pieces of each era for each position, as well as pieces with positional changes. Different games are discussed, such as portato, staccato, legato and pizzicato, as well as simple dynamic levels, from piano to forte, crescendo and decrescendo, and simple phrasings. The selected pieces have different characters, with melodies easy to remember, varied measures and simple rhythms.
