Fender Jazz Bass Signature Flea Rw Roadworn Shell Pink

Description

Flea's funk and jazz-influenced basslines helped propel the Red Hot Chili Peppers to the top of the rock and alternative music charts while redefining the role of bass in modern times. Flea's unique playing style has brought a breath of fresh air to the musical landscape of the past forty years and has prompted countless bass players to add a funky touch to their sound while exploring new techniques and harmonic possibilities. To celebrate this lingering influence, we recreated his favorite Shell Pink '61 Jazz Bass, an instrument he received from a fan and used to record Stadium Arcadium and The Getaway with the RHCPs as well as to play. in the Atoms For Peace supergroup.

You have to love the roadworn effect! This bass is just magnificent. The neck is comfortable. Big surprise with the reversed tuners. The pickups combined with the independent volume/tonality knobs allow you to navigate through all music styles, whether slap, funk, soul, or rock. In short, it sounds really great. It's my big favorite.

The instrument is very good, the Road Worn look is still very pronounced and there are many dings. The concentric knobs are quite nice. We have a very vintage-marked bass. Pleasant to play, not too heavy (the joys of Alder), a very good sound. In summary, it's a very good bass, very versatile.

Excellent Jazz Bass, easy neck, good sound. Unbeatable value for money. Only downside, good setup needed before optimal use. Originally, I'm not a fan of "relic" models, but in the end, you get used to it well!
