Our Skyline 44-64 shares the same aesthetics and Lakland hybrid dual-coil pickup as the USA Series version, thus capturing the rich and defined power of the early basses that revolutionized the world of four-string basses. The sound and power of a well-preserved vintage instrument, combined with impeccable fret finishing and neck adjustments by Lakland, make it a modern classic.
The 44-64 Custom PJ goes further by adding a single-coil 'J' style pickup in the bridge position for greater versatility. Additionally, the Custom version features a neck with a 1.5'' profile (J style), mother-of-pearl block inlays, a headstock matching the body color, and a rosewood fingerboard. The Ice Blue model is equipped with an unbound maple fingerboard with special position markers accented in abalone.
