Introduced for the first time in 1976, the StingRay has been revered as one of the most iconic bass guitars in history. This model was the first mass-produced four-string bass to feature active equalization. Music Man’s flagship, the current StingRay is the same as it was forty years ago and therefore benefits from solid construction, a massive hardened steel bridge, an elegant oval pickguard, and the famous Music Man humbucker pickup. All these elements combined offer you a look, feel, and sound that are remarkably unique.
