The lightest gauge in the D'Addario acoustic string range, EJ10 strings are ideal for beginners or musicians who prefer a softer sound and easier bends.

80/20 bronze, commonly called brass, is the original alloy chosen for acoustic guitar strings by John D'Addario Sr. and John D'Angelico in the 1930s. 80/20 bronze strings are favored for recordings due to the depth and clarity of sound as well as their excellent projection. They attract many traditional or vintage enthusiasts for the history they convey. All D'Addario acoustic strings are wound on a high-carbon steel hex core, resulting in a bright and durable sound with excellent intonation.

I've had these strings for two or three days and they are wonderful. I was using light gauge before (EJ16) and now for barre chords it goes smoothly. Well, one might regret a loss of power and that the guitar sounds brighter, but it's okay.
