Description

The Zoom LiveTrak L-20 is the new digital mixer that offers everything creators need to record, control sound and mix complex productions. With 20 separate audio channels and six individual monitor mixes, it's designed for richer, more daring arrangements.

20 ENTRIES FOR BIGGER SOUND
The LiveTrak L-20 is designed to mix bigger. It has 20 inputs (16 mono mic / line inputs and two stereo inputs), all of which have their own 3-band EQ with parametric mids. The 16 mono inputs have stand-alone compressor control. Record 20 separate channels plus a stereo mix directly to an SD card. The LiveTrak L-20 captures crisp sound at resolutions up to 24-bit / 96kHz. With an input noise ratio (EIN) of −128 dBu and a maximum input gain of +60 dB, the LiveTrak boasts the quietest and most sophisticated preamps we have ever produced. Do the final mix of your tracks on the L-20 or transfer your independent tracks to a digital audio station for fine tuning.

CREATE SIX CUSTOM FEEDBACK MIXES AND ONE FOR THE FACADE
Each of the six independent monitor outputs allows musicians to have their own custom mix, with effects, and can easily switch from a powerful headphone output to a balanced line output for stage monitors. The LiveTrak L-20 has a dedicated 7th output for the front panel engineer. It can thus control the sound of the main mix and any of the monitor mixes to adapt them to the satisfaction of the musicians.

LARGE CAPACITY INTERFACE
Although the LiveTrak L-20 is designed to function as a stand-alone recording and mixing console, it can also be used as a 22-in / 4-out USB audio interface. Audio interface mode allows you to direct inputs to any digital audio workstation or audio streaming software, even while recording to an SD card. Additionally, audio signals can be sent from your computer to the L-20 to be mixed with your live performance. Class Compliant mode, which allows connection of iOS devices, is also supported.

Device intended for live group recording. Used by me as a mixing console in rehearsal allowing to record each take with top quality. The preamps are good, much better I find than those of its predecessor zoom hd16 that I already had. The +: - easy to use for those who are used to using a mixing console - quality of the preamps - number of inputs and outputs. So comfortable! - light and therefore easily transportable for live sound recording. - very decent recording without having to go through a computer. (which remains possible though) The cons: - a bit fragile in appearance (very plastic) - price maybe a bit expensive, but at the same time given all that the beast can do.... Not many competitors with this number of simultaneously recordable inputs at a non-pro budget anyway! To be seen in use, but I am quite happy with it for now!... (Show more)

Very nice Mixing Console. A bit expensive of course (and still I have a friend who bought it for 1200€ a few months before me, now it is at 870€) but it works as a Mix console + Multitrack sound card. It records in Multitracks (wav file) and not just a simple stereo MP3 file so possibility to rework your mix in Cubase or other ProTools... (you can even record directly in your favorite DAW because this console also works as a USB Multitrack sound card 44.1khz 48khz 96khz) Lots of possibilities (Save 9 group scenes, 6 return outputs or headphones etc...) It's a very good Mixing Console, it only lacks one thing... The motorization of the knobs, that's all... maybe for a future L25 or L30....? What to say exactly, that's what our group needed, great system to be able to memorize each balance of all the tracks. Not to mention the 6 rare ones on a table and I only remember that the quality is there, if one day it dies I will get the same thing again. EXTRA
