The Discrete 4 Pro SC is directly descended from the Antelope Audio Discrete range. It retains its strengths but inherits the latest generation of AD/DA converters and enhanced software features. With ultra-fast Thunderbolt 3 and universal USB 2.0, extremely low latency, and improved effects processing capabilities, this audio interface meets the needs of desktop setups as well as recording studios.

The Discrete 4 Pro has been updated with the latest generation of converters (up to 130dB dynamic range on the monitor output). As with all current Antelope Audio interfaces, the proprietary Antelope Audio 64-bit AFC™ clocking technology reveals new details in your recordings and an exceptional stereo image.

The design of Antelope Audio's discrete component preamps is inspired by the best preamps in recording history. Based on a unique combination of 6 transistors, the Discrete preamps have maximum noise reduction and allow precise sound capture for the most transparent recordings possible.
Advanced Features for Creative Sessions
The Discrete 4 Pro's virtual routing patch optimizes the routing process and allows you to send any source to any output. In addition to intuitive drag-and-drop routing, the software control panel lets you create presets, quickly configure mixes with four 32-channel virtual mixers, and more. Now, you can assign effects to any source. Create different versions of the same recording with unique effect chains, record them simultaneously, and even send them to all performers via the four headphone outputs. You want all band members to be happy, right?
Rack-Format Interface Connectivity
The Discrete 4 Pro SC offers an impressive number of inputs/outputs in a compact footprint. Four mic/line inputs, two instrument inputs, four DC-coupled line outputs, a stereo monitor output, four headphone outputs, ADAT I/O, and S/PDIF I/O are at your disposal. For connection to your computer, you can choose between USB 2.0 & Thunderbolt 3. All I/O are available at all times and can be used simultaneously.

The 37 effects delivered with the Discrete 4 Pro are modeled after legendary studio equipment and can be applied in real time during monitoring, post-production, and live recording. The analog-modeled compressors, equalizers, and preamps are supported by the interface with near-zero latency, placing no load on your computer's CPU.
The Synergy Core processor has enough computing power to create a 16-channel rack effect setup—four times more than the original Discrete 4 SC. You can expand your collection at any time by purchasing additional analog machine replicas like the Grove Hill's Liverpool tube compressor, and third-party effects such as the famous Antares Auto-Tune.
