Very pleasantly surprised by this cymbal. Initially, I was simply looking for a 14" crash that wasn't too bad but not too expensive to complete my set, but the PST7 thin goes beyond my expectations. Simple but beautiful in appearance, it produces a bright crash without being aggressive, slightly dry with a well-balanced sustain. The feel under the stick is flexible and pleasant, and there's no need to hit it like a lumberjack to make it sound; in fact, it's not made for that. I wasn't really a fan of the Paiste brand, but I must admit that the latest series is increasingly appealing to me. I also have a PST8 splash and a PSTX trash crash, and they all sound really good and look great. I'm considering getting a complete PST7 set later if the other cymbals in the series are of the same level. Very good value for money, impeccable finish.... (Show more)
