the build quality is a bit cheap, you should avoid fiddling with the buttons too much like a brute I think to avoid breaking everything... same, if your goal is to transport it often, you shouldn't let it get too compressed in a bag thrown together.. apart from that, this accessory is really great! of course, everything it allows you to do can be done with a mouse, but once you have this thing, you really don't want to use your mouse anymore! recording and mixing becomes more concrete, you feel a bit less like you're doing everything on a computer and it's very pleasant... :-) I use it on Logic Pro, the setup was a bit tricky but once done, it's really a delight! in short, at this price, if you compose little things at home and don't want to spend too much on this kind of accessory, go for it! if you were thinking of buying the other "korg nano" (key and pad), for not much more you might find a keyboard with all the buttons of the nanokontrol that will be a bit less cheap and will take up less space on your desk than these three accessories + their USB cables lying around everywhere! ;-)...
