The chopsticks of the brand Nova are not just entry-level, they are Vic Firth sticks! For short and simple, all Nova chopsticks are at the base of Vic Firth sticks. They follow the same rigorous specifications that Mr Vic Firth has put in place and, selection is at the end of the production line. After pairing by weight, chopsticks that have a small cosmetic "defect" are stamped Nova and are intended for drunken drummers who want to play with Vic Firth.

Before leading the brand that still bears his name today, the late Vic Firth was first and foremost an accomplished percussionist who practiced his art under the baton of the greatest conductors in the Boston Symphony Orchestra. His first pair of chopsticks was designed to meet the needs of a musical piece for which he wanted a particular sound and touch. Assisted by the greatest drummers on the planet, the designers of the brand have maintained this requirement to market - among others - the American Classic series which brings together the basis of models to adapt to each hand and especially to each musical context. These drumsticks are, for their remarkable price, rather good. They last for a decent amount of time. A good product. However, especially DO NOT TAKE THE BLACK ONE, because the olive is black and it leaves black marks on all your skins and cymbals... If I had to rate these drumsticks, I would give them a 7/10.
