The strings do not sound better than standard D'Addario strings of the same gauge. To the touch, I didn't feel any difference on the bass strings, and on the treble strings, it took me some time to adapt because in the first few days they tended to slip under my fingers during bends. The big plus of these strings is their longevity. Clearly, they last at least 3 times longer than standard D'Addario strings for the way I use them.
