: AF75

The AF is the most traditional design within the Artcore series. The full-hollow body construction means there are no sound blocks in the body. This construction method produces a rich, complex tone, expressed with a pure voice and full body, the tonal characteristics most highly desired among the discerning Jazz player.

Ibanez first introduced Artcore back in 2002 and it has remained a workhorse hollow-body guitar for musicians all over the world ever since. And here it is! I was a bit impatient, the package took some time to arrive but it was my fault because I placed the order the day before a weekend that almost preceded a public holiday. When opening the package, no bad surprise, very serious packaging and maximum protection. Finally, I hold the grail in my hands. It is simply super beautiful! It sounds like I imagined (to be honest I had played it in a store, so I had a good idea of what I was buying). It's a very good guitar for this budget. I highly recommend it! I took the opportunity to get a Line6 super III 75, strange combination? no! I haven't tried it yet for the moment, I'll tell you later. As for WoodBRASS, I contacted Stéphane at the number online (up there at the top right of the page), great welcome, good advice, good feeling, musician, in short GREAT! A guitar bought a few years ago now. Still not disappointed, whatever the style. I plug it in without an amp on the console via a (good) direct box, then I run it through the DAW software and that's it. Killer sound with very little input correction, just a cut around 80Hz to avoid explosive bass. But this applies to all guitars... As for the look... it leaves observers dreaming... The price? It's a good investment. When I bought it, it was worth €320 new (recommended retail price at the time), look at the retail price (without discount) today!!! Kudos to WoodBrass for the discount granted...

I bought this guitar with a Line6 Spider III 15 amp (just to see) but I also have a tube amp. Very warm sound, jazzy, superb guitar, I don't dare touch it for fear of leaving fingerprints! Woodbrass is really a trustworthy site, never disappointed with either the speed or the quality of delivery. Small downside: loose jack but I fixed it myself, nothing serious. I was finally able to afford it and it is SUPERB as a friend said "Damn, it's a piece of furniture." The finish is of excellent quality for an instrument of this range: I found no defects, not even minor ones. The sound is warm and round, which is what I was looking for. Plugged into my Behringer VINTAGER AC108, it's perfect. Next step is to put flatwound strings according to the forums, that's the best, and buy a fly-case.

Great value for money. Very well-made guitar, perfect finish. A warm sound well suited for jazz and blues. Holds tuning well. Only downside is the bass a bit too present on the E and A strings. Overall a great guitar that I enjoy playing. I installed a set of flatwound strings: even better!

Guitar bought 4 months ago, I don't get tired of it. Just as playable with or without an amp, with a round and warm sound. Not really suited for metal, but a bit of rock or blues, even jazz suits it perfectly. And on top of that, it has a killer look! Attention, small detail: it's a 3/4 body, so a bit thicker than an Epiphone Alleykat. Really not disappointed.

Good instrument for the price. Good finish and decent sound. Just the pickguard that vibrates on the microphone stand near the tailpiece, needs to be raised slightly and it's OK.

Magnificent guitar delivered quickly and carefully packaged. Only downside!!! after-sales service return because the switch is defective and it sinks into the body. manufacturing defect I think! I opt for the exchange and I wait!! Very good reception on the after-sales service phone!!
