I had an Alto ZMX 122 FX that had served its time. The ZED 10 Fx is far superior! No comparison possible. It's solid, the knobs are a bit hard to turn, but that's a plus for fine adjustments. Strong points: the sound, the 2 Hiz inputs (no need for DI). I plugged in my electro-acoustic: an amazing sound. On the mic side, the sound is warm, not a hint of noise. Regarding effects, nothing to complain about. The direct power supply is a joy. The USB port: plug and play! In summary, a pro machine. Too bad Woodbrass doesn't have the ZED 12 FX, I would have ordered it.
