Solid and very practical: avoids having a second stand for a singer-instrumentalist. Two small complaints: you cannot adjust the spacing of the boom arm relative to the main microphone stand (it does not pivot horizontally), and a telescopic boom arm would have been welcome: it would reduce the bulk, which remains quite considerable. But well, it is still very useful.
