Part of the ?Step? controller lineage, the KeyStep Pro takes Arturia?s sequencing-performance approach further. Compared to more compact models, it adds multiple independent tracks, a dedicated drum sequencer, and granular editing tools. The result: a robust command center to shape your ideas without leaving the keys.
The KeyStep Pro is designed for keyboardists, producers, and live performers who want to orchestrate synths, drum machines, and modular systems without a computer, or as a complement to a DAW. Its 4 tracks allow you to write melodic lines, basses, and rhythms in parallel, prepare ?DAWless? sets, and maintain a smooth creative flow both in the studio and on stage.
With its 4-track step sequencer and 16 step buttons, the KeyStep Pro makes building patterns up to 64 steps easy. Recording can be done in real time to capture playing energy, then refined step by step. Each note is precisely shaped with pitch, velocity, gate, time shift, and probability parameters.
The drum sequencer offers 24 rhythmic parts to layer kicks, snares, percussion, and accents. Polyrhythm enables evolving grooves where each track can have its own step count, while scale quantization?including user scales?maintains overall harmony.
The 37 mini keys provide a responsive feel for quickly sketching melodies. LEDs placed above each note give instant feedback on step progression, perfect for live performance and on-the-fly adjustments.
Designed to interface with analog and modular systems, the KeyStep Pro features polyphonic CV outputs to control multiple hardware voices. This lets you keep one hand on stage and the other on your synths, all from a single controller.
