Description

The Essentials to Know About the "BER10" Bernth Signature Guitar

  • Extreme versatility thanks to the Fishman Fluence Bernth Custom set (voices 1/2 in humbucker, voice 3 in split single coil).
  • Modern playing without constraints: AZ Oval C roasted maple neck, 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, ebony fingerboard.
  • Exemplary tuning stability with the Gotoh T1502 tremolo and MG-T locking tuners.
  • Stage-ready: "Reversed Sharktooth" inlays and luminescent side dots.

A Signature Shaped by Stage and Studio

Designed with Austrian guitarist Bernth, the "BER10" condenses his touring, pop/rock session, and modern metal demands. Based on the AZ platform, it aims for immediate response, exemplary intonation, and a wide sonic range to go from cinematic arpeggios to high-gain rhythms without changing instruments.

Who Is This Guitar For?

Ideal for intermediate to expert levels, the "BER10" excels in modern metal, rock, prog, shred, and session work. The 25.5" / 648 mm scale length and 10-46 gauge strings offer familiar tension in standard tuning, while the active electronics allow for clear cleans as well as dense, articulate saturations.

Sound

The neck pickup (Alnico magnets, active) delivers spacious cleans and silky leads, while the bridge pickup (ceramic, active) provides tight lows and sharp attack for fast riffs. The 5-position selector combined with the push/pull tone pot deploys three complementary voicings: Voices 1 and 2 as full humbuckers for modern tones with distinct EQs, Voice 3 split (internal coils) for snappier single-coil-like timbres. Alder body brings midrange/attack balance, ebony fingerboard and stainless steel frets enhance definition, sustain, and precision.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

* Recommended hard case: MR500C (manufacturer compatibility). * Replacement strings: D'Addario EXL110 10-46 (original setup, perfect balance on 25.5" scale).
