This guitar is based on the JP6, the model that started the collaboration between John Petrucci and Music Man. Since then, it has become a standard appreciated by demanding guitarists seeking a coherent and highly performing instrument. Outrageous comfort, extreme access to the high notes, tuning stability, thin and fast neck, flawless fretting—the list could stop here but that would be to underestimate Sterling by Music Man: the fingerboard is adorned with JP logo inlays and a 7-string version is available for a modest extra charge.
