The rear panel of the Nextone Special offers connectivity tailored to today's performance and music production needs. External control is possible via a GA-FC footswitch, standard BOSS foot switches, or MIDI. There is an effects loop, as well as XLR and 1/4-inch outputs for a front-of-house console, with a choice of three virtual cabinet microphone impulse responses, including Air Feel. A headphone/recording output is also available for practicing your instrument or playing silently, and the USB output allows for direct recording and communication with Nextone Editor software. Outputs for external speakers allow you to connect up to two 16-ohm 4x12 cabinets for even more massive sounds.
