The original signal remains 100% analog, only the effect is digital then converted into analog before going through the various settings offered by the pedal to get a natural mix of the 2 signals. The result is a high resolution delay effect with a lot of depth. In addition to offering a refined effect, this pedal is very intuitive and easy to use.
