Description

The Zoom Am7 is the perfect audio companion for filming with your Android device. Whether you're shooting music videos, video podcasts, live or delayed vlogging: the Am7 brings your smartphone audio up to its video quality. You can set the width of the stereo image to 90 ° (standard), 120 ° (wide), or select Mid-Side for a custom stereo image. The Am7's microphone capsules line up with your camera, to match 16: 9 video recording, or position vertically for audio recordings only. The Am7 can even position itself in selfie mode, allowing you to be in the center of the action! You can adjust the input level easily with the gain potentiometer, accessible from the front panel, using the LED level indicators. The headphone jack allows you to control your sound recording before, during and after recording. Compatible with most audio and video applications available for your mobile, the Zoom Am7 also works with the free Zoom Handy Recorder application. Available on Google Play, Handy Recorder allows you to record, mix and share audio on Soundcloud or Google Drive, directly from your smartphone.

This microphone is a plus that has improved my instrumental video recordings with my Android phone. There isn't an exceptional difference, but it is noticeable and appreciable nonetheless. I am just starting to use it.
