ZOOM MS-60B+: small size, big sound
Recognised as one of the few brands to design multi-effects for bass, Zoom has unveiled the long-awaited MS-60B+. Featuring multi-layer impulse response technology, it faithfully reproduces 11 legendary amps and cabinets, and lets you simultaneously send a modelled sound on one output for your PA and a 'dry' sound without amp modelling for your amplifier on the second.
You can combine up to 6 of the 75 effects specifically designed for groovers: octavers, filters, modulations, synthesizers, saturations, etc. The backlighting of the MS-60B+ LCD screen changes colour to make it easier to distinguish each category of effect as you scroll through them. The built-in chromatic tuner uses the colour backlighting to provide visual feedback to help you tune your instrument quickly and accurately. It supports all standard bass guitar tunings, including drop tuning.
The MS-60B+ is designed with new analogue circuitry that offers a neutral phase response, giving clean attacks and accurate low frequencies. It features cross-key control for easy switching between effects and patches at the touch of a foot, plus USB MIDI capability for connecting the MS-60B+ to other MIDI devices to trigger patch changes remotely. With a growing library of patches and effects, bassists can continue to enrich their sound with the Handy Guitar Lab for MS-60B+ app for iOS.
