Amplifying an acoustic instrument is a complex science to master: all too often, the result is too bright, too dull or too flat, and feedback problems are far more common because of the guitar's resonance box. To counter these problems, a good preamp specially designed for acoustic instruments is imperative.
And that's exactly what Nux offers with the Stageman Floor and its array of features, from preamp to DI to looper, for easy on-stage accompaniment.
The Stageman has been equipped with a whole range of features to make an acoustic instrument sound its best on stage. First of all, a piezo selector near the jack input lets you adapt the input impedance to the type of pickup connected: magnetic for an electric guitar, piezo for an acoustic guitar.
In addition to its 3-band equalisation, the Stageman features a Notch control capable of precisely cutting out a frequency responsible for feedback. To enhance the sound of your acoustic guitar, the Stageman also features a chorus and reverb.
In addition to its preamplification function, the Stageman also features an XLR DI output, specially designed to drive a mixing console or PA system, and a headphone output for silent playing at home. This preamp also incorporates a looper, so you can easily accompany it on stage or at home. An effects loop is also present so you can insert your favourite effects into your sound.
