Adam Jones 1979 Les Paul Custom, Antique Silverburst
Tool's Adam Jones is one of rock's most talented and innovative guitarists. He has won four GRAMMY® Awards and sold several million albums. Epiphone has teamed up with Gibson Custom to create a new model that pays tribute to what Adam calls "one of my favorite guitars of all time", his Gibson Les Paul Custom 1979 Silverburst. It features a three-piece maple neck with a custom Adam Jones profile, ebony fingerboard and mahogany body with maple cap. Finished in Antique Silverburst, it's also equipped with high-quality electronics, including a Gibson Custombucker pickup in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan® Distortion® in the bridge position, as well as CTS® potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors. The Epiphone Adam Jones 1979 Les Paul Custom also features a Gibson "open book" headstock profile, and illustrations created by Joyce Su and Adam Jones can be found on the back of the headstock. The guitar also comes with a replica two-inch convex mirror included in the Deluxe Protector Series case.
