Designed to meet professional requirements, the ZOOM H5 recorder completes the range and adds much awaited functionality. Offering 4 tracks for recording (2 microphone / line inputs on XLR combo, two dedicated removable capsule inputs), the H5 allows the user to choose the microphone he uses; the XYH-5 torque included with the device can be replaced by the MSH-6 Mid-Side capsule, the SGH-6 "cannon" microphone, or EXH-6 microphone / line inputs.
Also designed to be mounted on a digital camera or camera, the H5 has a backlit control screen for excellent viewing of recording levels. It supports SDHC cards up to 32 GB, providing the storage space required for the 4 high-resolution 24bit / 96 KHz tracks. And like all ZOOM recorders, once connected to a computer via USB, the H5 works as a 4-in / 2-out digital audio interface.
