Description

GAMECHANGER AUDIO MOD Reverb

  • 3 algorithms: PLATE, SPRING and HALL.
  • 4 simplified controls: LEVEL, DECAY, TONE, DRIVE.
  • 3 stereo dispersion settings: 0%, 50%, 100%.

Reverb modulation examples

  • Gated reverb: create your own gated reverb by routing DYNAMICS to DRY/WET LEVEL.
  • Spacious reverb: a reverb tone adjusted for high notes may not work for low notes and can confuse the mix. Move PITCH to the TONE setting and adjust the MODULATION DEPTH so that when you play the neck lower, the reverb omits the low frequencies.
  • Inverse Decay: create an impossible reverb with short tails on loud notes and long tails on soft notes by connecting DYNAMICS to DECAY and adjusting the MODULATION DEPTH setting counter-clockwise.

Each MOD series pedal has 2 modulation sources that you control during your performance. DYNAMICS follows the volume nuances of your playing, capturing the character of your playing and the volumes of your instrument. PITCH detects note choices, bends and vibratos. You can then route these modulations to one of the 4 effect buttons and set the parameters in motion.

Customise the modulation with the DYNAMICS and PITCH controls and dedicated mode switches. Adjust the release time of the DYNAMICS, introduce a glissando into the PITCH and adjust the response curves to suit your playing style and desired effect.

Each of the main effect knobs is associated with a smaller modulation knob, also known as an attenuverter. This allows you to fine-tune the amount of modulation and direction for each setting independently. Imagine the dynamic possibilities: a hard blow on a guitar can significantly turn one knob while slightly moving another in the opposite direction. Explore the subtleties, from gentle parameter changes to complete transformations of all parameters.

You can play a note to set it as the centre note by holding down both footswitches. For example, setting A3 as the centre pitch means that pitch modulation is only activated when it exceeds A3. DYNAMICS has an adjustable volume threshold - modulation only occurs with notes louder than the set threshold.

Features

  • Stereo and mono signal processing. Stereo routing is possible with mono TS or stereo TRS cables.
  • Switchable input level: INSTRUMENT, LINE or EURORACK.

  • TRACK input for routing an auxiliary signal to control modulation.
  • TRACK output for transmitting the TRACK signal or as a DRY signal output.
  • MIDI/CLK input for MIDI clock or analogue synchronisation for time effects.
  • Power input 9V DC negative centre at 250 mA minimum.
  • USB-C input for MIDI and updates.
  • 4 patch cables included.
