The Washburn Nele Standard signature Nuno Bettencourt has a sumptuous natural grain marsh ash body, a maple neck decorated with a speckled maple fingerboard for a high quality violin and high notes very easily accessible thanks to Stephen's Extended Cutaway contoured cutout. The Nele Standard is equipped with a Seymour Duncan® Vintage Stack® pickup in the neck position, a Bill Lawrence L-250 bridge pickup, as well as a 6-position "Freeway Ultra" pickup selector. This innovative pickup selector allows players to access the three common settings, but adds to three additional pickup chaining positions (series / parallel, phase / out of phase). Each Nele is carefully manufactured in the Washburn USA custom shop.
