The name NAVIGATOR is a tribute to the scientist Enrico Fermi; its name refers to the coded message that informed the President of the United States that Fermi had succeeded in achieving a controlled chain reaction in the first atomic pile: “The Italian navigator has just landed in the new world”. The Navigator F1 features an original design in ultra-light, ultra-resonant Val Di Fiemme spruce, carefully studied microphone placement and active electronics that respect the acoustic qualities of the instrument.
