Launch Control XL 3 works with or without a computer. Simply power it via its USB-C port, then connect your hardware instruments and effects processors directly via MIDI using the 5-pin DIN in, out, and out/thru connectors. If you're working with a hybrid setup, you can combine your hardware, DAW controls, and essential plug-in parameters using the included special templates.
