With Sonicview, Tascam offers a brand new range of digital recording/mixing consoles incorporating the latest technologies. Thanks to fully customisable touch screens, user-configurable buttons, motorised faders and intuitive control software, it is easy to visualise and control the parameters you want, when you want.
Sonicview consoles integrate elegantly with the rest of your system, thanks to Dante network capabilities, a multichannel 96 kHz/32-bit USB audio interface and all the built-in inputs/outputs. Uncompromising audio quality, a mixing engine running on FPGA and working in 54-bit floating point, numerous signal processing functions, an expansion card slot for increased connectivity, wireless remote control: Sonicview consoles are the next generation choice for recording studios, mobile studios, touring, fixed installations and broadcasting.
Which model should you choose?
The Sonicview range offers two versions, differing in their dimensions and the number of physical inputs, microphone preamps, faders and touchscreens.
The Sonicview 16 offers 16 physical input channels, with motorised faders and high-end Tascam HDIA Class 1 microphone preamps; the Sonicview 24 has 24. The internal architecture of the two models is identical: 44 input channels (40 mono and 2 stereo), 22 Flex output buses, L/R general buses and stereo audio recorder on SD card or integrated USB.
