The Warm Audio Centavo is an accurate recreation of one of the most inaccessible overdrive pedals in guitar history. Known for its boosted and overdriven tones, the craze for this ultra-popular pedal continues today, long after its original production run from 1994 to 2009. With prices skyrocketing into unthinkable prices for a three-knob overdrive , it's no wonder guitarists like Jeff Beck, Joe Perry, John Mayer and Josh Homme have found all the legendary magic of the original pedals to be worth the hype. The Warm Audio Centavo is a true-to-the-original overdrive pedal that authentically recreates the legendary experience and beloved sounds of the original legendary box.

Heritage at your feet
Whether you're looking for the legendary boost tones, breaking-edge overdrive, or want to push your rhythm channel to the real grit – the Centavo has all the beloved tones of the original pedal. The Centavo is comfortable acting as a boost pedal, but the saturation in the higher gain settings provides a platform for true "transparent" overdriven rhythm sounds. The addition of the "MOD" switch on the rear—requested by Jeff Beck on the original pedal—allows players to extend bass response, affecting the lower strings for additional low-end drive tones.

Pedal settings and controls
The Centavo has three basic controls on the top - Gain, Treble and Output. The gain on Centavo breaks quite late, with a break edge reaching after 50% and true clipping occurring late in the gain phase. The treble control is useful for dialing in more high-end for muddier guitars, like dual humbucker models or all-mahogany instruments. The Centavo is output loaded and can easily deliver clean amplification or create natural distortion if your amplifier tubes are already pushed. Engaging the rear MOD switch is a great tool to have at your disposal if the overdrive initially sounds "thin" in the lower register.

Super pédale aussi bien avec ma STRATOCASTER qu'avec ma Les PAUL que je redécouvre ! Seule frayeur le batterie qui se trimbale à l'intérieur, pour le prix le constructeur aurait pu trouver un moyen pour la caler. Pour ma part, j'ai bloqué avec un peu de mousse isolante.
