The R12 is designed for musicians who want the freedom to create wherever they are. Compact and mobile, it allows you to record,
edit and mix tracks without a computer. Its color LCD touch screen makes it easy to cut, copy, loop and edit

your tracks. The R12 offers two XLR/Jack inputs, allowing you to connect your dynamic or static microphones, your guitar or bass, your piano or synthesizer... It has a total of 8 audio tracks, which allows you to create models up to ready-made pieces to be broadcast. In order to perfect your sounds, the R12 offers a multi-effects offering reverb, chorus and delay and guitar effects compatible with our Guitar Lab software. Each track also features panning and a 3-band EQ, and inputs 1 and 2 feature a compressor.

With 150 preloaded drum loops in a variety of patterns and genres, the R12 provides a versatile rhythm section suitable for any project. Add additional audio samples by importing files into your R12 via Micro SD card or USB flash drive. The R12 also incorporates an FM synthesizer offering 18 instruments, programmable using the touch screen, or which you can play by connecting a MIDI keyboard via USB-C to your R12.

The R12 offers up to 5 hours of battery life on four AA batteries, allowing you to compose and record wherever you are. In addition, it can be powered by mains (with the optional AD-17 adapter), or via USB (by your computer, or a USB battery). With the sequence playback function, the R12 allows you to create a playlist of your projects, which you can then use as backing tracks, for your rehearsals, shows or demonstrations.

Acheté en remplacement d'un vieux Tascam 4 pistes à cassettes (un dinosaure...). C'est sûr qu'on entre dans une autre dimension. Relativement simple d'utilisation, même si parfois je mets encore un peu de temps à comprendre pourquoi aucun son ne sort... Le principal bémol est la toute petite taille de l'écran tactile qui regroupe beaucoup de fonctions. Du coup, pas toujours facile à manipuler avec mes gros doigts. Ça m'a valu d'écraser une piste accidentellement. C'est toujours un peu rageant... Les effets sont supers, la création, duplication, suppression de projets super simple. Bref largement ce qu'il faut, vu mes pauvres compétences d'ingénieur du son !!! M'a permis d'enregistrer une chanson de façon "correcte" en une journée (basse, batterie, lead guitare, guitare solo, voix). Je ne regrette pas !!!... (voir plus)
