Classic sounds with the flexibility of a modern pickup Vintage U87 pickups are known for their presence, but they can also get shrill at high volumes. Our UA Bock 187 improves on this classic design with a larger transformer, reworked circuitry, and an original FAT mode, which boosts frequencies between 10 Hz and 400 Hz. The result: increased dynamic range and presence, and a rounder sound in vocal and instrument shots.
