The Palmer PEABO is a balanced source selector with one input and two outputs. It is therefore the perfect choice for sending a signal to one of the two available outputs. When you are on stage, send your microphone to the front-of-house or monitor console to communicate with the front-of-house engineer or the band itself. Switch between different sound settings: For example, you can switch between different processing or effects as you wish: telephone filtering, long reverb, etc. Simply connect the two outputs of the PEABO to two channels of the mixing console, set differently. You can then switch from one setting to another from the stage. The PEABO can also be used to send the signal from the same microphone to two different rooms or areas. Switching is done via a sturdy foot switch, and a red LED indicates the selected output. Output A has a 15 dB attenuator; output B has a 6, 15, or 21 dB attenuator. A ground lift switch prevents humming. The PEABO has a sturdy metal case with extensions on the side and base to protect the input and output connectors. Holes drilled in the bottom plate ensure easy and secure mounting in a rack or pedalboard. The PEABO is entirely passive in design: the 9-volt battery is used only to power the LED.
