Kawai CA701 – The authenticity of a concert grand at home

The Kawai CA701 redefines the digital piano experience: solid wooden Grand Feel III keyboard, Shigeru Kawai SK-EX tones, and an immersive 360° audio system. Combining piano tradition with modern innovations (Bluetooth, touchscreen, interactive apps), it delivers a sound immersion and playing comfort worthy of a true concert grand, without the constraints.

88-key Grand Feel III action: reproduces the touch of a grand piano with solid wooden keys, for a natural feel and greater durability.
Ivory/Ebony Touch surface: coating that mimics ivory and ebony, for better finger grip.
Let-off simulation: reproduces the slight resistance felt when a hammer escapes in an acoustic piano.
3 sensors per key: allow for more accurate detection of nuances, even during fast repetitions.
Velocity curves: adjust the keyboard sensitivity (Light, Normal, Heavy, Off) to match your playing style.

Sound

SK-EX Rendering sound engine: 88-key sampling of the prestigious Shigeru Kawai EX Concert Grand and other Kawai piano models (EX, SK-5, K60).
Harmonic Imaging XL technology: captures the resonance and harmonic richness of every note.
96 sounds: pianos, strings, organs, modern tones.
256-note polyphony: play without sound cutoffs, even with pedals and layered sounds.
Spatial Headphone Sound: recreates the natural piano projection in headphones, for comfortable listening even during long nighttime sessions.

Reverb (6 types): recreates the acoustics of a concert hall or an intimate room.
Chorus (3 types): adds depth to the sound.
