Billaudot DAVID VINCENT - RHIZOME

Descripción

Rhizome: a perennial underground stem that produces roots and aerial stems. Lively music, emanating from a single root, spreading in multiple horizontal or vertical directions. Starting from E♭, the reference note of the transposing alto saxophone and in homage to Glazunov's concerto, the rhizome first multiplies towards the peripheral notes E and D before finally covering the entire saxophone range. The string ensemble sustains the soloist's resonance and brings its own sonic and musical richness.
