Leduc BONNEAU P. - CAPRICE EN FORME DE VALSE - SAXOPHONE SEUL

Descripción

Paul Bonneau (1918–1995) was considered by all his contemporaries as the leader of light French symphonic music: he collaborated on about fifty major films and many short films either as a composer or as an orchestrator, and composed ballet music as well as operettas. He devoted several notable pieces to the saxophone, which are currently referenced worldwide. His Caprice in the form of a waltz for solo saxophone (1948) soon enjoyed international fame; virtuosity is at the heart of this fantasy, which is much more a concert work than a simple étude.
