Perfect for digital recording, the 1073DPD combines two world-famous Neve 1073 microphone preamplifiers with Neve-designed A/D converters, all in a single rackspace.
The big, punchy sound of the 1073, the world’s premier mic preamp, has featured on some of the most famous recordings of the past 40 years and enhances any musical genre, from rock to classical.
With the 1073DPD, two Neve 1073 mic preamplifiers are complemented by superb Neve-designed analogue-to-digital converters that can capture a performance in any required format. In addition to Neve's famous Class A analogue, outputs provide digital options, including standard sampling rates up to 192kHz and Neve’s high-quality DSD (Direct Stream Digital) output.
Rear-panel Mic and Line inputs feed dual Class A gain stages, with adjustable Gain and selectable 48V available on the Mic inputs. Class A analogue outputs in XLR format are also found on the rear panel, adjustable via front-panel ±10dB Trim controls. Analogue insert points ahead of the A/D converters ensure the classic Neve sound is retained.
