The genesis of the Signature
These saxophones offer great playing versatility, suitable for all levels of saxophonist, and are the natural link between the Axos family - entry-level professional saxophones - and the Supreme family - top-of-the-range saxophones. The name Signature underlines Henri SELMER Paris's identity as inventor and manufacturer, built up over the course of its history.

In a few words
The Signature tenor is the reinvention of the Series III model, which has won over many saxophonists since its launch in 1995 thanks to its acoustic qualities and ergonomic comfort. With a larger neck diameter, this new model offers rare precision and full sonority. Its ergonomics, strongly inspired by the Series III, suit all musicians, whatever their level or musical aesthetic. The Signature-Tenor features the new 3-point bell clamping system developed for the Supreme model, ensuring perfect sound homogeneity.
The Signature tenor saxophone is both traditional and modern, adorned with an original Art Deco engraving, a tribute to the age-old skills handed down from generation to generation in the SELMER factory, which has been based in Mantes-la-Ville since 1919. A unique place that exudes strength and magic, where the human hand is omnipresent and fundamental. Gestures that create sound.

Optimised production
Calibration of the cup inlet diameter and 3D manufacturing control to ensure greater consistency in the manufacturing process, so as to reduce acoustic differences between instruments, even if slight differences remain.

Acoustics
The acoustic qualities of the Signature tenor are characterised by great playing flexibility. It allows you to move easily from undertones to timbred sounds in any tessitura. The enlarged diameter of the soundhole ensures great power and projection.

Mechanics and ergonomics
Concentric 3-point clamping for improved connection between mouthpiece and body.
The stock clamping ring is made of nickel silver, which adds density to this sensitive area. It is separate from the stock, so its position can be adjusted.
Octave key system with Teflon bearings for easier action, which also limits play, noise and wear.
Natural mother-of-pearl keys, set in the traditional way.
Leather pads with metal resonators and rivets.
Gold-plated metal thumb rests for the left and right hands.

Signature Case: An exclusive case made by BAM. It features ample storage space and two removable inside pockets. The shoulder straps offer great comfort when the case is worn on the back. The ABS case is tinted black.
Concept mouthpiece: With its innovative, refined design, the Concept mouthpiece benefits from new manufacturing technologies. Combining lightness, richness of sound and great homogeneity in all registers, the Concept is a model of great acoustic precision.

Two-material case: made in the same shape as the case, the front in microfibre reproduces the engraving of the Signature and the back is in silk. It is placed on the instrument in the case to ensure maximum protection for your saxophone.
Body and glass wiper: round in shape, decorated with the Signature engraving, the microfibre body wiper has an absorbent foam in its centre for more effective cleaning.
