SCHOEPS offers the bestsellers of the “Colette” range in the form of paired microphone kits. The wooden case contains two complete microphones with two paired MK4 capsules, SG20 stand adapters, B5D windscreens and CMC6 analog microphone amplifiers.
The stereo set capsules are delivered with their pairing certificate. It is a document that guarantees extremely low dispersion of level and response curve characteristics. These curves are archived, as with all SCHOEPS capsules, and serve as a reference in case they need to return to the factory for verification or repair. This is the assurance of being able to extend the great longevity of SCHOEPS products, and of ensuring that the performances, for which they were chosen, are always at their highest level. Stereo sets are the best way to approach stereophonic sound recording, whether in music, in a room, in the studio or outdoors, and for any type of sound creation. The essential accessories are provided, and the set is ready to use.
The MK 2 is often used for acoustic measurements, an application for which it has gained considerable reputation. A mechanical adapter (AMBK 1 type, 20mm to 1" diameter) is available for calibration with B&K devices. Please note that due to dimensional tolerances, only the nickel-plated version of the MK 2 can be used with this adapter.
