Phono Cable - XLR-XLR - 1.5m
The PhonoConnect PHC 150 XLR-XLR cable is a high-end phono cable designed to ensure an optimal connection between a turntable and an amplifier or preamplifier via balanced XLR connectors.
The copper version uses high-purity, oxygen-free (OCC) copper conductors, which ensure precise signal transmission and balanced sound. This version offers excellent conductivity for natural sound. Extremely low capacitance of less than 90 pF for interference-free connections and a linear frequency response extending to the highest tones.
This cable is ideal for audiophiles seeking a high-quality connection between their turntable and audio system via balanced XLR connections.
Specific features:
- Fine-stranded pure copper conductors - Two separate twisted pairs - High-density polyethylene (HDPE) dielectric. The dielectric is the insulating material between the conductors. - Antistatic outer coating - High-compression PVC outer jacket compliant with RoHS/REACH standards - Single shielding with Mylar/copper: Mylar is a polyester film used as an insulator and support for the copper shielding. - 48-hour burn-in process: burn-in involves operating a device or cable for a certain period of time to stabilise its components and optimise its performance - PTFE-insulated XLR connectors: PTFE, better known as Teflon, is an excellent electrical insulator with very low dielectric losses - 24-carat gold-plated XLR and ground connectors: gold plating provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance, ensuring reliable and durable contact. - Lightweight components made from 6061 aluminium: 6061 aluminium is an aluminium alloy commonly used for its light weight, strength and good machinability.
