X-Vive A58
Xvive offers a new wireless option for guitarists and bassists: the A58 system. Whereas the popular U2 wireless system transmits on the 2.4 GHz band - with excellent performance when there are obstacles between the transmitter and receiver - the A58 system uses the 5.8 GHz band, a frequency that is less congested and less susceptible to interference.
The A58 system also has an incredible range of 30 metres, is compatible with both active and passive microphones, automatically selects the most stable channel, offers easy replacement of the built-in batteries and can be charged using a USB-C cable, the current standard.
What are the advantages over the U2?
- New 5.8 GHz frequency band
- Better audio quality
- Colour-coded for easy identification of transmitter and receiver
- 6 channels - Compatible with both passive and active electronics
- Ultra-low latency of less than 5 ms
Replaceable batteries for longer life - Supplied with case
- ACTIVE OR PASSIVE
- The A58 offers both passive and active modes, allowing you to use instruments with any type of microphone, from vintage passive to high-gain active.
INTELLIGENT CHANNEL SCANNER
The A58 offers a choice of six different wireless channels. But here's the best bit: it's capable of scanning the available channels and automatically choosing the one with the strongest, clearest signal! Whenever you find yourself in a new location, press the scan button on the receiver to find and set the best channel, then set the transmitter to the same channel. When you switch off your transmitter and receiver between sessions and then switch them back on, your last channel selection is recalled.
REGARCHEABLE
Charge the transmitter and receiver at the same time using the dual USB-C cable and any 5V 2A USB power supply. A two-and-a-half hour charge gives 5 hours of play; 1.25 hours gives 2 hours of play, and 30 minutes of charging gives 1 hour. The units can be used while charging, but bear in mind that it is better for the long-term life of the batteries not to leave them plugged in and fully charged for prolonged periods.
COMPATIBILITY
Any connection you normally make with a 6.35mm jack cable can be replaced by a wireless connection: the A58 transmitter can connect to your instrument or effects pedal, for example, while the receiver can connect to your amp, amp modeler or pedalboard. You can use two kits in the same system: one to connect your instrument to your effects, and another to connect your effects to your amplifier.
