Jimi Hendrix™ is widely regarded as the most innovative guitarist of the rock era, a musician who pushed the boundaries of the instrument like no one before. Today, Epiphone, in partnership with Gibson Custom and the Hendrix family, is proud to present the Jimi Hendrix “Love Drops” Flying V™, an Inspired by Gibson Custom recreation of a guitar that Jimi used extensively between 1967 and 1969.

Originally finished in Sunburst, Jimi Hendrix customized his Gibson™ Flying V, repainted in Ebony, with psychedelic graphics that he hand-painted — and which are faithfully reproduced here.
