It's your turn to play! Piano is a new, modern piano method for young people and adults alike, which never loses sight of the pleasure and joy of learning. With or without a piano teacher, this method gives beginners a solid foundation in terms of both playing ability and theoretical knowledge. Anyone who wants to start practising again can also refresh their knowledge without any problem. The visible division into lessons, boxes and tests makes it easier to find your way around and helps you to learn. The "find the keys" sections provide initial support for reading notes and arranging them on the keyboard. A detachable overview of the keyboard layout and a searchable mini-lexicon of music are additional aids, and also encourage the use of this method by self-learners. All the pieces are on CD, so you can 'put them in your ear' with an aid of ideal acoustic quality. Many of the pieces have been arranged by a professional studio musician, so you can play along at home with an orchestra! At the beginning of this method, I provide some information about the piano, its playing technique and how to write scores. Anyone who already has this knowledge can start straight away on p.14 with the first piece. In choosing the pieces, my aim was to create a colourful mix of classical, folk and pop music. I hope you'll enjoy it too, and wish you much pleasure and success.
