The Custom 24 Piezo is a 24-fret solidbody electric guitar equipped with a piezo system, allowing players to easily access both classic humbucker tones and authentic acoustic sounds—all in one instrument. The added versatility of PRS’s patented Gen III tremolo system gives musicians a powerful and unique tool to expand their sonic palette.
The Custom 24 Piezo features dual output jacks, enabling guitarists to plug into their favorite electric or acoustic amp—or directly into a mixing console via DI. With the dedicated blend control, the DMO pickups can also be mixed with the piezo’s acoustic tones through a single output.
The PRS DMO pickups (Dynamic, Musical, Open) deliver a highly open sound with a vocal-like character, offering rich, pleasing tones across a wide frequency range—from lows to highs—in every position. These pickups were personally designed by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS New Product Engineering team. From deep research into the most coveted vintage pickup models to cutting-edge signal analysis and fine-tuning technology, the DMO pickups reflect years of PRS innovation and expertise.
