Novation Peak is an
8-voice polyphonic desktop synthesizer designed for musicians seeking a rich, flexible, and expressive sound. Each voice features
3 digital “New Oxford” oscillators (DCOs), blending digital precision with analog warmth. With
17 built-in wavetables, Peak lets you explore a wide range of sonic textures.
Advanced sound exploration
The oscillators support
linear FM (frequency modulation), with the ability to
cross-modulate sources in a loop, whether analog or wavetable-based. Each voice includes a
multimode resonant analog filter and
three analog distortion points strategically placed in the audio path (pre-filter, post-filter, and global).
Deep expression and modulation
The Novation Peak responds to
polyphonic aftertouch for enhanced expressive play. It also features
three ADSR envelopes and
two LFOs per voice, as well as a
16-slot modulation matrix with
16 direct assignments, easily accessible from the control panel. A clear menu gives quick access to more complex routing.
Built-in effects and live performance
Add depth and character to your sounds with
built-in effects:
reverb, delay, and
chorus. The
built-in arpeggiator inspires creativity, while two
animate buttons let you transform patches live, for intuitive and organic performances.
Comprehensive connectivity for studio and modular use
The Novation Peak integrates easily with your studio or
modular setup thanks to its
CV modulation input. It also offers full MIDI connectivity (
In / Out / Thru 5-pin DIN), a
USB port, two
6.3 mm line outputs, a
headphone output, and two
pedal inputs. The
