Sound Source

• The multi-dimensional Morphing AiR sound source produces a wide range of exceptionally detailed and playable sounds, including grand piano tones that include the rich resonances of the acoustic instrument.
• The clear harmonics generated by the piano strings associated with each of the 88 keys, as well as the resulting complex cabinet resonances, are faithfully produced to create a rich and vibrant piano sound.
• The piano sound varies subtly over time and with each nuance of the pianist's style, from the softest touch to powerful, lively playing.

Sound System

• CASIO's new Spatial Sound System technology uses four independent full-range speakers to produce sound that fills your space. The speaker support structure is made of a rigid wood/resin composite material.
• The outer speakers are equipped with side diffusers that help produce a full sound despite the compact size of the piano.
• The Surround function creates a natural, extended sound experience by adjusting the individual output of the four speakers, each set for a particular sound element in the space (three types available).
• The Room Simulation/Reverberation function recreates the acoustic characteristics of concert halls and other performance spaces, producing a real sense of presence.
• The Piano Position function allows the sound elements of each speaker to be adjusted according to the location of the digital piano (mounted on the stand, near a wall, in the centre of the room, on a table).

Tones

Keyboard

• The Intelligent Hybrid Hammer Action Keyboard allows for highly expressive playing, from soft touch to powerful touch, thanks to an advanced physical keyboard mechanism combined with digital control technology.
• Like an acoustic grand piano, the key mechanism uses the weight of the hammers to lighten the keys when played pianissimo, but to keep them responsive when played fortissimo.
• The white keys are made from a high quality spruce/resin composite material for a natural feel and quality finish.
• The white keys are finished to recreate the natural grain of ivory, while the black keys offer a new matte finish that looks and feels like ebony.
  With the 88-key digital keyboard's detuning technology, the volume is controlled individually for each key according to the force applied to it, with the weight of the touch varying along the length of the keyboard, as it does in a grand piano.
• The ten-step Hammer Response setting allows you to adjust the timing of the sound according to the keystroke and the playing range, just like an acoustic piano.
• The three levels of the Key Off Response control how quickly the sound disappears when a key is released. You can select a slightly more legato or staccato feel depending on the song.
• The Key Off Simulator setting controls how fast the sound fades after a key is released based on the release speed. Typical of the PX-S6000 is its ability to take into account the finer nuances of how a grand piano responds to the pianist's expression.

Pedals

• The PX-S6000 also comes with a damper pedal (SP-3), which is essential for creating the best piano performance possible.
• The three-pedal unit (SP-34) which is sold separately features a damper pedal that can be continuously controlled, allowing for a wide array of different expressions depending on how you step on the pedal
  *The included SP-3 pedal should be connected to the EXPRESSION/ASSIGNABLE jack, while the separately sold SP-34 three-pedal unit to the PEDAL UNIT jack.

Experience

• Two programmable rotary knobs for intuitive real-time control of parameters such as filter cutoff frequency, resonance, attack and release times, and DSP effect parameters.
• Programmable CONTROL knob for real-time tone variation while playing.
• The pitch bend wheel allows you to gradually increase or decrease the pitch of notes that are being played.
• A commercially available expression pedal can be connected and assigned tone parameters for real-time control.
• The Arpeggiator allows arpeggiated chords and other musical expressions to be played by pressing the keys. When using the Overlay or Split function, the Arpeggiator can be turned on/off independently for each part.
• The Overlay function allows two different tones to be overlaid on the entire keyboard.
• The split function allows you to divide the keyboard into an upper and a lower zone and assign a different sound to each.
• The duo function allows you to divide the keyboard into two zones of the same
  register.
• Recording allows you to save and recall a snapshot of the current piano settings, including tone, overlay, split and effect settings.
• In addition to the rotary knobs for controlling the hardware, the piano remote control in the CASIO MUSIC SPACE application can be used to set the tone and effect settings.
• The metronome function with a variety of patterns, ranging from basic clicks and bell sounds to 20 different styles of drum patterns. Tempo can be set digitally in beats per minute or by tempo indicators such as Moderato.

Connecting a microphone/using Mic effects

• Connect a microphone to the standard MIC IN jack (TS phone) to hear voices through the PX-S6000 speakers. Apply the room simulation/reverb effect to mix voice and digital piano sounds.
• 25 microphone effects available to enhance, improve and give effects to voices.

Headphone mode

• 
  Headphone mode automatically optimises the sound for listening through headphones, creating a more natural listening experience as if the sound were coming through the speakers.

Audio recorder

• Record your performance as a standard WAV audio file to a commercially available USB stick for playback on a computer or other device.
• DSP effects and microphone input (including microphone effects) can also be recorded.

MIDI Recorder

• The MIDI recorder captures your performance as MIDI data, which can be played back on the digital piano (ideal for piano lessons and practice). The data can also be saved to a USB stick as a standard MIDI file (SMF) for later playback or use with a digital audio workstation or other electronic musical instruments.

Wireless Audio and MIDI Adapter (WU-BT10)

• Connect the supplied Wireless Audio and MIDI Adapter (WU-BT10) and listen to music from your smartphone or tablet on the PX-S6000 speaker system.
• Compatible with Bluetooth™ Low Energy MIDI devices allowing the PX-S6000 to be used as a wireless MIDI control keyboard, for example.
