The Scarlett OctoPre is the ideal 8-channel extension for any Scarlett or other digital interface with ADAT inputs. This digital audio format is a simple and easy way to increase the number of simultaneous recording channels available in your studio. With eight channels of 2nd Generation Focusrite Scarlett preamps and precision AD conversion at sample rates up to 192kHz, the Scarlett OctoPre also features eight balanced line outputs, straight from the mic preamps, for live use.
Eight natural-sounding 2nd Gen Scarlett mic/line inputs deliver ample headroom, low noise, and minimal distortion. Ideal for drums, guitars, keyboards, vocals, etc. The front panel features two instrument inputs with optimal gain margin. The analog line outputs allow you to drive an analog console at the same time as recording with the digital outputs.
