In the world of studio microphones, the numbers “47”, “67” and “87” are associated with models that sound professionals are excited about. Of course, it is no coincidence that the name of the new TLM 67* model contains the number “67”. In many aspects, the TLM 67 is based on a legend from the 60s, the U 67 model. Like its predecessor, the TLM 67 incorporates a K 67 capsule. In addition, its specific circuit, a new design, faithfully reproduces the sound signature of a "classic" U 67, without using tubes. Neumann has already successfully used similar technology in the TLM 49 model. The TLM 67 is extremely versatile. It offers three different polar patterns (omnidirectional, cardioid and bidirectional), a switchable 10 dB pre-attenuator and a high-pass filter, which allow the microphone's behavior to be optimized according to each specific recording situation.
Features:
