The USBPhonoPlus v2 is the ideal low cost interface solution for transferring any analog or digital audio source, including a turntable into a computer via standard USB connection. Building on the success of the two previous iterations, the ARTcessories DeeJayPre and the USBPhonoPlus, the USBPhonoPlus v2 adds more convenient pre or post monitor source selection and a variable headphone level control to the already successful low noise RIAA standard A/D interface package.

The USBPhonoPlus v2 is of course fully compliant with the USB 1.1 specification and uses USB adaptive mode for playback and USB asynchronous mode for audio recording applications. Optical TOSLINK inputs and outputs as well as S/PDIF inputs allow the USBPhonoPlus v2 to act as a convenient digital audio to USB interface as well standard line level analog audio / USB conversion tool. Designed to work with the USB audio device drivers in PC Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista, Mac OS9.1 or greater (with native USB support) or any OS-X based system, the USBPhonoPlus v2 requires no additional drivers.

Housed in an all aluminum black anodized case, the USBPhonoPlus v2 can be powered by either an external power supply or directly from a PC based USB host port for added convenience.

Now shipping with the USBPhonoPlus v2 is a CD-ROM which contains a complete copy of the audio recording utility Audacity.

dit product lijkt me van zeer hoge kwaliteit signaalruis, vervorming, audiophile opnamecontrole hoofdtelefoon- en lijnuitgangen verschillende voedingsmodi filter compact metalen behuizing digitale en analoge ingangen tb usb geluidskaart compatibiliteit geen stuurprogramma controlelampjes enzovoort enzovoort ik ben er zeer tevreden over, temeer omdat ik een concurrerend product in kunststof behuizing heb moeten retourneren voordat ik deze (tweede) keuze maakte!!

Dit product is echt fantastisch. Ik had eerder een concurrent product getest en de resultaten waren niet zo goed. Ik verbind het met Soundforge van Sony, wat veel meer flexibiliteit biedt dan de software die gratis bijgeleverd wordt. Specifiek is de audioherstelmodule van Soundforge echt geweldig en biedt het een heldere transcriptie van je oude vinyl. Dus ga ervoor. Het is een must. Philippe
